The best time to visit France is in spring (April-May), summer (June-August), or autumn (September-October).

PARIS

  • Dine at the Eiffel Tower – this needs to be booked in advance. There’s three options:

o 1st floor – more for breakfast and lunch and is a dress down restaurant
o 2nd floor – Michelin star Les Jules Verne – this is ideal for a special occasion/proposals

and dress code for is formal
o 3rd floor – Champagne Bar which also serves food

  • For shopping in Paris – go down to Champs Elysees

  • Dinner Cruises – nice to go around 10pm as Eiffel Tower lights up around this time (great for

    Instagram)

  • Dinner Moulin Rouges – you will be dining with other people instead of having your own private

    table

  • Adults only shows – Lido and Crazy Horse (down Champs Elysees)

  • Visit the Louvre Museum

  • Visit Notre Dame

  • Hire a scooter – use the company Free Scoot – they give 20% agent rates

  • Get a train from Paris to Disneyland and buy a hopper ticket to visit for the day

  • Breakfast at Café de Paris

  • Drive the Monoca Grand Prix track

  • Take a boat trip to Mala (known as La Reserve de la Mala). Take a water to a beach club and theres also club, spa and food! (can spend the day there – stunning place to go)

  • If you have someone who doesn’t want to stay in Monaco and prefers to stay in Cannes (which is cheaper and more touristy) you can get a day boat from Cannes to Monaco using ‘Trans cote d azure’ and spend the day there. Or you can hire a boat (more expensive option) using: zizoo.com which is commissionable.

  • Au Cheval – Ecrin Blanc Hotel – a ski resort which is great for kids. They do family rooms and apartments and they have an indoor waterpark attached to the hotel! You can play in the snow and play in the waterpark. They do 20% agent discount. Fly from London to Geneva (not directly to Au Cheval as it has a dangerous runways) and the hotel will organise a car (which is a 2hr drive).

Insider tips

Usually clients would prefer to do a weekend getaway from Thursday night – Sunday night. Offer them to go Saturday – Monday as it works out cheaper!

Method of travel for Monaco:

Fly from any airport to Nice. The flight is around 2.5 hours. There are 3 options to get to Monaco.

  1. (for clients who wants to do a day trip in Monaco) Book a boat ride with a company called ‘Trans Côte D’Azur’ where the boat leaves Cannes at 10.00 and gets to Monaco at 11.30 (double the website which for accurate timings). Then leave at 4.30pm to get back to Cannes. Return ticket prices: Adult 55 euros, Child (4-10) 42 euros, under 4 goes for free

  2. Get a helicopter from Nice terminal – 7min helicopter ride straight to Monaco. This is 165euros per person. The views are incredible and is worth every penny!

  3. Taxi from Nice to Monaco takes 45 mins and is approximately 100 euros.
