Best time to go

Dubai is sunny all year round however avoid the summer months (June - Aug) as it can be unbearably hot. The best time to visit Dubai is during the winter months (Nov - April). Usually, Jan - Feb is where loads of tourist visit Dubai because of the Dubai Shopping Festival. Its also key to note, Ramadan is a yearly muslim festival which sees the country go dry (no alcohol), from sunrise to sunset. This time is best avoided for party goers. The dates for Ramadan vary each year.

Best suppliers to book are Ratehawk (for hotels only), Major Travel, USAirtour & Instant Holidays. If booking for yourself as the agent, best to contact the hotel directly and check out Staff Travel Voyage (STV).

Insider tip

Advise clients to check their Emirates Boarding Passes site as these include discounted tickets to attractions, restaurants and spas for free.

Advise your customers to download the following apps where they get access to discounted activities, restaurants, beauty treatments and spa (e.g massages, nails) and much more: Cobone & Groupon. Additionally, you can recommend the "Entertainer" app (https://www.theentertainerme.com/). This gives you thousands (about 15k +) 2-4-1 vouchers for every restaurant and activity throughout Dubai. It’s pricey at around £85 (415 AED) but you will save this with a couple of meals out or one visit to a water park and it lasts for 12 months.

Example Itinerary and best Instagram worthy places:

Day 1: Dubai Mall & Burj Khalifa

  • Burj Khalifa 124th floor- Painted wings

Go for the sunrise tickets that include breakfast- it’s quieter! (Fridays & Saturdays)

Try the glass sky slide on floor 53-should be included in your ticket.

If you’re brave enough tackle the Edge Walk-a ledge on the outside of the tower.

Arrive at opening time (10am) Otherwise it gets busy and queues can be horrendous!

  • Burj Park by Emaar

  • Dubai Mall Waterfalls

Go  in the morning to avoid the crowds.

  • Dubai Steel Heart- Just outside Dubai Mall
