> Top of the Rock (Book in advance daytimes is best too see skyline and central park) - this is on 5th avenue so u can also check out the nike flagship store they also have the new flagship paris saint germain shop aswell as sephora is mrs wants to check it out
> have a look to see if theres a basketball game on when your there and book in advance via ticket master
> Central park by electric scooter or bike (we rented from a shop which was literally around the corner from the park called fancy apple)
> 9/11 Memorial
> Grand Central station
> The Oculus (9/11 Memorial, Grand Central Station & the Oculus are all in same area)
> Statue of Liberty
> walk the Brooklyn Bridge (go from manhattan side too Brooklyn side and go on an empty stomach, when u get too Brooklyn side visit the New York time out market in dumbo for food so many choices of delicious food)
> Bryant Park morning stroll and theres a really nice cafe on the side of it does nice brekkie food/coffee
> flat iron rooms whisky/jazz bar
> dumbo area has nice rooftop bars
Food;
> Check out Ess a bagel (close to times square) amazing bagel selection
> Don Antonio (really nice family run italian just outside times square)
> jajaja mexican carmine street (amazing vegan mexican restaurant) - book in advance
> max brenner book the union square 1(this is a chocolate restaurant amazing dessert and really nice food, u can even get mains with a shot of chocolate) - book in advance, also if you like your trainers check out the flight club, its a minute walk from here - all the celebs hip hop stars go here its a vibe even to just check out
> clinton street bakery (bit out the way but worth it, breakfast of champions this place! - book in advance if u can as most walk ins expect a slight wait)
General tips
- if your having a drink, take your ID they wont take uk driver licence passport only (restaurants should be fine i found at bars/sporting events they were abit funny)
- tipping culture is huge as u may be aware
- take the tubes everywhere its sooo much easier (u can get 3 or 5 day pass but just check it out before u go)
- use apple maps if you have it rather than google maps i found it worked better
- try using amex everywhere get good points
